Sign of the times with charities with vested interests holding more sway than experts in their fields, we seem to be f*****g run by them these days and I don't recall any of them ever being elected.. I thought it was about saving moor frickin game birds, so they can make even more money and keep paying taxes whilst shutting down the countryside to everyone else. They have been nesting at a National Trust site about 10 miles away for a few years now and last weekend my friend was telling me he saw one in the village. The 'we' often seems to be a small local minority, charity or other group of individuals. The countries in a mess and is crying out for strong, decisive leadership, and the fact that this government has announced so many badly thought out policies in the first place only to back track on itself time and time again displays anything but strong leadership IMO.
